Luis fue un poeta\, escritor y educador que fue desaparecido por el ejército guatamalteco en 1984 durante los años de la guerra. Mayarí compartirá sobre el legado de su padre con Proyecto Luis de León. Su misión es contribuir al desarrollo cultural y educativo promoviendo la lectura y el amor por las artes escénicas\, tomando como eje central el rescate de la memoria histórica y el cuidado del medio ambiente.
