Research
I’m interested in the cultural memory of recent dictatorial processes in Latin America. In particular, I’m interested in the representation of systemic violence and enforced disappearance in contemporary literature, photography, cinema and performance. Lately, I’ve been focusing on the Southern Cone post-dictatorial narratives produced by the generation of the sons and daughters of the disappeared. My approach crosses the fields of memory, archive and spectrality studies.
