Research
I’m interested in studying contemporary Mexican cultural productions within a post- neoliberal context, inside the context of border cities. I seek to understand how the implementation of neoliberal economic and political policies has impacted the subjectivity and sensibility of those bodies excluded from hegemonic frameworks. In particular, I would like to delve deeper into how neoliberal policies have impacted the female body, the forms of violence inflicted on them, and their representation.
